Discussion: Botting Risks, Tips and Deletions

Ye if your new accounts is getting deleted after 1 day its because of IP/hardware ID/ or from what IP the account is created, if you are online on many clients at the same time from same IP/hardware ID etc. CIP going ham on mass botters now.

In my opinion this won't help at all, for me their "detection tool" are just 2 group of ppl.
First is checking reports in game, its rly easy to detect any botter, for example by adding to game new type of firebomb, its invisible, dont make any dmg but got new item id, so after throw it under player bot going to stop, even for person watching his screen that would end up like "freez", one of many easy solutions to detect botters without complicated software.
Second group is just scanning new created accounts, checking ip's / hardware of pc, and trying to take down ppl from their "hunted list", so mass botters, wt services, ppl with big stocks etc, thats why group of ppl is getting deleted right after creating new acc's, even if they are done manually! when others botting for years and they are fine

but if you dont steal monsters etc you dont get any reports for them to look at. also those firebombs etc doesnt exist but could probably be done yes. also many ppl have been deleted even if they are not getting any reports, so its probably both IP (for the bot farmers) and also their auto-detection system (which probably checks for simillar walking patters, either compare with diffrent players or check if the same player seem to go in the exakt same pattern all the time). in the later its gonna help really much with randomize scripts. if you only think for 1 second you will realise that its ofc gonna help with randomize the scripts. because the bot will go more human-like = less bot-like = less chance to be deleted.

same, even ppl who don't use bot getting deleted for example re-sellers: tibiawt.pl (zlotowinfo) and few more, seems Cipsoft focused on "bigger" botters/sellers and mass botters, nowdays botting on Dawnport == very very very high chance to get deleted, I even did Eli on "Chrona", "Morta" etc few days ago, did one dawnport manually! and get deleted on that account :P In my opinion there's no any advanced system to detect botters, just "customer support emplyers" finally go to work

How many of the deleted accs got Tibia Authenticator on?

Anyone has this? I use it on my acc, as a legit player who doesn't wants tk hacked, using mmy cellphone to authenticate. This means I will never use a reconnect script, how about you guys who doesn' Bot 50+ chars? This is another level of "registering accs" and might give casual botters another layer of protection.

By the way making more randomized wpts isnt hard, if you already have the base for a city you only change the spawn spot with options to go to/back and special areas that can be a bit random too.

lost my 130ish main ek today which is on a 10 years old account, been botting plenty of MC chars along while on my main, had a pause only botting noob chars and yesterday decided to bot my main. Changed ip, no mc, logged on morning and botted/quested/fighting, randomized the day and night time while botting I got delited. lost about 10 accounts last week but I thought I would be safe on my main char, at least for a bit longer (been back playing tibia for 2 months after 7 years break)

It seems once you get deleted you are doomed at that computer as they will investigate every char coming from that hardware. Maybe switch pc or change hardware id/ format pc etc and see what happens.

exactly my first thought, but then i though, hold on, what if i.e ive got a brother and we sharing computer.. wouldnt be fair to just go by IP and hardware ID.. although, they might have extra interest in people who played on a cheating IP/ID... Beh, cant change pc or harwares, quite good specced laptop.. although i might look into trying virtual machine if that could help hiding my hardware ID, anyone using VM?

They're not that harsh. You can get deleted a few times and you'll be no worse off. Eventually they will investigate you of course, but a single deletion is not enough. I've lost 5 accounts this month, but I can still do stuff like train on mad sheeps and run extremely repetitive scripts as long as I stay away from other players.
