So much drama, we don't even know if Battleye will work with Windbot , Battleye is usually intended at blocking hacks , e.g. aimhall, wallhack, maphack, etc. A botting program is very hard to detect server-side . One approach that Lucas might take is Virtualization. If botting without injection is so easy to detect, don't you think that all major MMORPG, such as World of Warcraft, that cannot stop botting ingame , would be suing botting companies instead of implementing Battleye , if it was so effective against botting ?

Still, I don't know how much effective it will be, but I'm pretty sure it can bypassed.

It can be bypassed ofc, the problem is how BE works. They are not just a simple anticheat, they also have proactive detection.
They will buy windbot, they will detect it once Lucas bypassed it and they will ban EVERYONE at once (delayed banwave) before theyr anticheat start banning 1 by 1 instantly. Thats how they did to R6S, Ark, Arma III, DayZ and many others. They wont simply detect windbot, ban 10 people and let them spread the word so everyone else can stop botting.

They could just launch bogus updates and corner us into the fear of using the bot when in reality they haven't changed anything.

The character backup for the upcoming short public test server to prepare the technical integration of BattlEye will be taken tomorrow, February 22, at 10:00 CET. The exact date of the public test will be announced in due time.

Lucas is going to make an official post soon, But right now he do not have internet at his home.. He is working on this stuff, but i will let him go in to detail with it.
