That's a good question Dworak, no I actually haven't as I started on a server that I don't have any chars on.

When I first remote in with teamviewer, I see that the ping spikes a little bit up to the 300+ area, and if it connects quickly sometimes I see avg ping at 200. Do you think teamviewer is the problem? Does your connection produce similar effects? I imagine if I had 3-5 clients running, then the jump in ping would have even more impact on the clients. If I connect via vps2day console, it's the same ping.

I just realised that I'm on teamviewer 11 though, not 10...but surely that's not the issue? Maybe it is?
update: I tried using teamviewer 10, no difference. I'm really curious to hear what happens to your VPS ping when you connect.

Like i said, you shouldn't care about ping just check with another char how its running because i don't have any problems here.

I'll take your advice on that and start a char on my own world. I can see after 50 levels or so if he is running at a sensible rate. I've got a few mc chars going at the minute and they are happy at low level stuff. Thanks for your time - I'll update here when I know more so that anybody reading can understand.

Also, the VPS2day guys were very helpful; they moved my server location for free to test if the ping would drop (it didn't, but I'm happy enough for the moment).

I have the same problem that someone else mentioned, I set up my vps (following your guide exactly, including resolution and hud off - except the window top bar hud (GeneralInfo) so I could see ping.

I'm sitting at around 300-400 even after a server restart. It's not so bad at the moment, as I'm botting facc to test it out - and the script works fine with this lag - but longer term that could be a huge problem. My server is in NL and I tested that ping on Refugia over several hours, no change(except going higher sometimes!).

In case it's relevant, I opened the client with windaddons and was viewing it at 10fps. I'm really excited about using a VPS, but this lag seems to be an issue and I guess one or two other people are experiencing the same thing. Do you have any thoughts/advice?

did you checked on your PC following the char to see if he is lagging ?

i bought this vps yesterday and i did all this setup like is show in pic but the problem when i start boting tibia is so freezing graphics and when he reach to respown in first round character is died (died at Level 330 by an ice golem) maybe he died cuz of this freezing graphics ???? in normal when i bot from my pc i never die in this respown only if net down any solution for freezing graphics?

Ask them for move your VPS to new machine.

did you mean by turn off Hudts is i have to turn of HUD on Windbot?? and where is SS advance?

yes HUD in WindBot, in scripter -> persistent and in HUDs

Hi all, I've got an update here myself and it seems like teamviewer 10 is the issue and not vps2day (surprise surprise!).

When reconnecting, the quality rate always switches to default (which is bad). If you turn on custom settings for quality and maximise speed/turn down colours, it really helps. My ping dropped form 400 to 200 (which I think is still unacceptable when the avg is 100 when I don't have teamviewer running).

Could anybody recommend a similar but perhaps better vnc client?
@theanime, you can definitely bot US servers from the netherlands. My main is watching my nub char do it now very sucessfully with what appears to be decent ping. Dworak obviously doesn't have the problem of view-lag, so maybe there's ways to improve it further.
