Discussion: Botting Risks, Tips and Deletions

I made a new mad sheep character some weeks ago. Skilling 20~ hours per day, I managed to get 84/84 before I got deleted.
Maybe you'll have better luck only skilling 10 hours per day though.

Maybe you got deleted because you botted in dawnport (if you did, of course).

Or if you got any other deleted chars it could be due to it, MCing. I`m still waiting to see someone who only played 1 acc, didn`t MC and only used bot to heal/loot/train and wasn`t mass reported to get deleted.

I botted 3 different accounts on dawnport, went to main, and they were safe for 1 week. After 1 week, when I started to bot them on mainland, all of them went deleted..

I heard rumours that windbot source code has been leaked to cipsoft and now its detectable. Smn can confirm that?

I doubt it, Xenobot users are getting deleted too. It`s highly unlikely that CIP got wind source code too, and even then there would be 2 possible way to ban, client sided (every knowledgeable tibia programmer said there isn`t this method of detection yet), and server sided, that CIP could do a server sided scan on specific algorithms for hunting methods, and even still it could be bypassed if someone script in a different way their waypoints.

I have some bad feeling all those suggestions are made aint right at all. They randomly ban people. Prolly still around to check players manual somehow. Its not like 100 Players a day gets deleted on 1 server.. this few they delete per day is doable manually... Im sure they just check out ppl check the amount of money that was spent the last weeks/months and start to delete them. Im conastntly buying Premium Scrolls (1 scroll every 3-4 months) and im doing fine on every single character. last time i got deleted was 2013 at the very beginning xD

If they were deleting people manually, then how do you explain people getting deleted at nights and at weekends?

Yes I read but seems strange. The graphics showed in the YouTube video seems to be pretty good, I don't believe maybe it's some kind of hardware problem
