Discussion: Botting Risks, Tips and Deletions

As other people already have noted, the banning hammer is now automatized. Currently botting a new char on a new account, lets see how long it takes before they send me to deletera

They obviously changed something... The banning process seems to be automatic, because at the time they were deleting accounts Cipsoft Offices are closed... Or some individual was doing it from his personal computer at his home/somewhere house. Also before, if you complained about a deletion they'd directly tell you that the ban was justified and wouldnt be removed. Now they ask you for the name of the chars on the account to investigate.
Thats why I think they've improved their tool to work automatically, I believe they deleted the accounts manually, now either they are just executing a script which deletes a certain chars listed or I don't know, but banning that many accounts in a fewer time def. means something has changed.
Everyone should write a complain mail and see if they also ask you the names of the chars in the account to investigate if your ban was fair.

I've theorized, that if you get mass reported, your characters names go into a pool of names, and when the automatic deletion is executed, it will check every character thats been pooled by reporting.

It's system isn't purely based on reports, at least not anymore, of course somehow reports have something to do with deletion, but they are also banning accounts that have never been reported, worth mention it's happening to every major bot

First banishment ever, got 6 accounts deleted, i used to train them all on the same spot, and they had same name changed only the last part of it(numbers), for god it were only noob chars(some of them were high skilled :/)
Creating another 10 accounts. rofl

Of course it's not purely reports, but if you take a look at deletions there is a LOT of low level characters being deleted for some reason, a metric FUCK ton of level 8s to 50s. irrelevant characters, toss some higher levels in there every so often.

It's weird.... They are also banning accounts that haven't been active within the last three months.... I don't know, maybe they have a major list with botters gathered with the last few years and they are just deleting them now

after announcing the recent merges around 200~ accounts got deleted from my guild itself. I lost a main char and some lower makers.
