I can recommend you LENOVO G580, 120 GB SAMSUNG SSD, 8 GB 1600 MHz of RAM and i5-3230M CPU @ 2.60GHz. Bought it 3 months ago for 2000 PLN.
1 PLN = 0.330863 USD, so it was 660 USD.
Works very well, the only thing which might be not so good for Tibia is resolution, 1366x768.
Good thing is it can work 4-5 hours on battery.

Yeap, Agree with jakub. On this moment one of the top manufacturer on the market is LENOVO. And look for it in your price on ebay, allegro or smiliar auction portal. Don't buy: HP, SAMSUNG !!! Hp- weak grpahics card and - after a year - high probability to broke down, highest temp all the time, samsung - fucking bastards if you want to give up on complaints.... trust me.

My best choice for this moment around ~1000$ ( i think that about prize, because in Poland it cost 3200 PLN (1$ = 3,2 PLN)) is: Lenovo IdeaPad Y500

What It Is And Why You Need It:

    • 3rd gen Intel Core i7-3630QM 2.4GHz processor and 12GB DDR3 Memory; ensures high-speed multitasking operations and handles all your daily tasks with ease
    • 1TB HDD + 16GB SSD Cache; provides a large storage capacity for your files, documents, downloads, applications, and more
    • Features 2x NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 2G(SLI) for a total of 4GB video; for faster speed and amazing graphics
    • 15.6" display full HD resolution; for viewing your contents in outstanding quality
    • Integrated Wireless LAN; for uninterrupted network connection.
