So I originally had the same MSVCP100.dll issue as everyone else, but after downloading the proper package as shown in the tutorial, it gave me a new error:
c:\\Windows\system32\MSVCP100.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.
On the same page of the tutorial someone posted a link to visual studio claiming that that may have helped. I tried it and that too has not changed a thing. After searching google it recommended me to open cmd and type regsvr32 MSVCP100.dll in hopes that it will locate and hopefully repair the damaged dll. It gives me this error after:
The module "MSVCP100.dll" may not compatible with the version of Windows that you're running. Check if the module is compatible with an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of regsvr32.exe.
(After reading closing noticed a typo on resvr32 should be may not "be" compatible, not sure if this is for a reason or not but figured I'd add it lol)
Anyway so I tried everything I could think of is the bottom line and I have no idea what to do to solve this... Any thoughts?
