Need help using icicles

Hello. Here is my problem:

Free acc sorcerer. Lv 81. using glaial rod + icicles on dragons.
I am using keep away stance at 2 sqm (wanted 3, but it was glitching out and running into stairs).
Spam rate for icicles is default at 300-500
Now, here is the problem:
Character uses icicles only once every 3-4 dragons, and only uses the rod. Doesnt use icicles at all if i remove the rod.
I can see the mouse turning into croshairs as if the bot is using the icicles but it says "this may be only used on a creature" so im just kinda confused what to do here.

make lower spam rate maybe it will help

are the icicles in a hotkey?, if not try puting then with use on target or crosshair
