Some dude has posted this on Tibia forums:

Terminating BE services in task manager works and they don't seem to reboot. Please look into it, if players can terminate the BE service it won't do any good at all. Windows 10 Home Edition.

It is indeed possible to terminate that task, but since my knowledge on these matters are quite shallow, I can't really tell if they run some sort of backup scan and whatsoever.

Yeah, you can terminate BE service at task manager and its doesnt come back and tibia still running wihtout a problem. Maybe its possible for BE to run without appear at taks manager
