Indeed. I think they are just banning the ones abusing it - destroying the game (the ones botting like 3~100 chars nonstop). The ones botting on 1~2 chars for some hours are fine. Atleast i've never been banned in 10 years botting using different bots, even blackd. And NEVER botted more than 4 hours without a small break / 8 hours a day.

Yes same here, i have been botting for 10 years soon, mostly with blackd back in the days. Got reported probably 100 times and had most online houers on the whole server (there was a special site to recorded it, cant remember the name) there was no stamina back then so i had the bot running for 18/h per day. Had many GMs coming on visits just checking to see that i was not botting. Alarm + auto pause and run to the PC

Edited: I think most of the ones getting banned nowadays are like you said people who abuses it, auto dicers/having 50+ accounts running at the same time from the same IP adress. Im sure there are many chinese farmer sites that bot 50+ accounts at the same time just to make and sell gold.
