Preventing The Tibia Client From Auto-Updating Tibia 11 updates way more often than Tibia 10 and it does so automatically. However, not all of them are required to continue playing and you can disable the automatic updates. Tibia installer by default creates a link to launcher.exe on your Desktop. To avoid the automatic updates, all you have to do is start the bot through the client.exe executable. How? The following steps will create a link called Tibia 11 on your desktop which points to client.exe, meaning you won't get new updates when opening it. Press Windows + R. Paste <span style="font-family: 'Lucida Console'; font-size: 11px; background-color: #DDD; padding: 3px 5px;">cmd /c mklink "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\Tibia 11" %LOCALAPPDATA%\Tibia\packages\Tibia\bin\client.exe </span> inside it. Click OK. Use the new shortcut called Tibia 11 on your desktop to run Tibia.

You're not supposed to run it on cmd. You're supposed to run it on the Run dialog that shows up when you press Windows + R.

yes bot needs update every tibia 11 update which happens very often

It's not working for me.

Windows 8.

When i try to do it my console has been closed.
All time the same problem.

Maybe i have a lot of Tibia version's in the same location at AppData.

Can i create shortcut manually from Tibia\packages\Tibia\bin and create shortcut to client.exe on my desktop with no cmd?

The tibia 11 updated today denovu and it gave update alone because this command of cmd did not work, did not create anything in the work area and now is not working the windbot for warm version 11 help please what should I do?
