    Special Areas - Looting

    Is it possible to do not pass special areas while looting? (I mean without persistent)

    something like this:





    At the moment I'm using something like this:

    auto(100,500)
    if $looting then
    setsetting('Cavebot/SpecialAreas/SArea/Policy', 'cavebot & targeting')
    else
    setsetting('Cavebot/SpecialAreas/SArea/Policy', 'Targeting')

    Well, then you'll have to ask Lucas, but I don't think it'll be added anytime soon, since you can do it by persistent easily.

    I'm 99% sure that special areas considered by Cavebot affect Looting as well, so I don't see it being added anytime soon. But yeah, who knows?

    Well, i just posted this because when i make script with special areas, when it kills a monsters out of the special area it goes to loot it. If there's another monster behind this special area it's attacking and it can lure many monsters. So this special area if you don't add persistant like i posted, it's usefull.

    You need to make a "block" for the special area, if a monster will come, the bot will take the nearest path to exit the block. Lines don't work. Keep in mind you can use setsetting later on so if you did want to walk over the special area, you could.

    What this will do is make it so sure, the bot might walk into the area when there are no mobs around, but when one comes, he will run out straight away.
