Calm down, they changed 1 thing in client and thats all. Update took so long because Lucas wasn't at home.
That's the problem, they didn't actually "change" anything in client (there was no update).

Quoting another bot developer (changelog)
If they were able to make such change server side without the need of client update and keep the client functionality untouched, they just proven that they can play around with the packets bytes order without need of client update...Fixed the looter to work with the new packet ordering changes in the latest server save.
What if they just starting switching that packet order back and forth every server save?
What if they have the ability to change other packets relevant to bots without updating the client?

What happened yesterday is more alarming than the community thinks, but none seems to be really worried (or maybe im just paranoid?)
They changed some stuff probably due to a conflict between the new changes to the tile item limit and the corpse being added to the game world. It's entirely possible that they also used data from it to catch out botters but not likely at all. I know the details of the changes and can assure you that they were small and the change itself doesn't need a client update for extremely basic reasons which we don't need to be concerned about.
It will always be possible to bot. As long as the code is running on your computer, you have access to, and control over it. If it comes to it, there are even pixel based bots for healing and such.
If botting dies, then Tibia dies too
