Targeting: Keep away

So I have Keep away on a necromancer with 4 sqm range. No avoidance and still it tries to walk as much diagonal from the target as possible. It's also avoiding beams. Can someone help me? Or is windbot simply scripted as such?

keep away will try to stay diagonal, away in line will do the thing you want
