The tibia API its just a library of contents, anyone that knows how to program a bot and disable the aslr can make their own api.

some people dont understand what an api is, its just a help kit.

if address r43thuy9j85tg43y8h0953ygu09j8h5hgqu098 (this code is called rubish its famous on 3016) its stored in player.container then the api has the info to code it.

The new client is completely new, from scratch. So yes, they will need to make completely new bots.

No, We will not have to re-write the whole bot.
The thing we need to re-write is how the bot gathers the necessary info, and that is about "it", but yes, it is still a massive job.

How Windbot interacts with the client won't have to be changed that much, compared to, f.e Xenobot.
How Windbot 3 AI works won't have to be changed much at all.

So, please, stop spreading stuff that you know nothing about other then what you have read in Darkstar's thread on Xenobot forum.
Most of what he wrote do not apply to Windbot in the same way as Xenobot.

Running Tibiacast for the last 7 years has been fun, educational and at times stressful. However, in the recent years our lives have changed. Both of us now have other full time jobs and our interest for Tibia itself has waned.Due to the nature of our service we have been playing a constant game of catch up with CipSoft. Whenever they have made changes to Tibia, we've had to match them in Tibiacast. It's always been a precarious situation, and we've often worried that we'd be faced with an update that would be too difficult to support, and it seems that has now happened.
Tibia 11 brings some major changes and we've concluded that we'll not be able to support them. We simply don't have enough time right now in our lives to make it happen.
We have decided to close Tibiacast on June 30th, or when Tibia 11 replaces the old client, whichever comes first. The website will remain online to host the recordings for another 2 months to allow everyone to download and convert their old recordings.
We will continue to sell 1 month premium subscriptions via PayPal until June 1.
Those with premium time remaining when Tibiacast closes will be refunded.
No doubt there will be many questions. We'll try to answer them as best we can.

A project only "die" when there is no further action to be made on it, that isnt the case of Windbot, it is going to be updated to the new Tibia Client (just like any other regular update although this one requires more work and may lead to the public release of WB3).
