Prevent Windows 10 from resizing windows when closing laptop lid

Hello all:

First of all i know this is not related to cavebot, but it does affect it, so i was wondering if any of you guys know a way to prevent windowos 10 from resizing program windows when the laptop lid is closed, this causes my bots to fail if someone closes my laptop, and i know the first logical soliution would be to explicitly ask my roomies not to do so, but they are...well...hopeless.

I believe the only way to do this is to specify a startup resolution in your BIOS. Whether or not this is possible with your specific laptop is difficult to say. The problem is that when your display disconnects it assumes a "default" state with a simulated desktop environment. This desktop environment uses the native resolution that your graphics card understands, which it gets from your BIOS settings. Some BIOS' allow you to change this, most do not.
