How do you make your time go faster when you are at work?

We all play the game "I ain't gonna check the clock for 1-2 hours not" to fuck up the brain so the time seems to go faster.

Some people like myself listen to music, however when I get tired on my music list, I usually listen to stand up comedians on youtube. Which my JAYS four headset allows me to since I can turn off the screen and press a buttom and the latest thing being played starts playing, so my batteri won't be gone in 2 seconds :) My absolute favorite is Gabriel Iglesias I really do suggest you guys to give him a try and listen to his stuff when you are working, I promise the time will just run away and you will have a couple of good laughs while getting paid!

Some people like to download books, It's basically a guy/girl reading the big page to page some with better flow then others, It takes some time to learn to listen to a book, you might have to reverse a chapter or two the first books you listen to for it to make some sense, however I do not enjoy it at all.

That being said what is your trick to make the time go faster?

I would like to get some tips on good stand up comedians like Gabriel Iglesias and what not, maybe intresting stuff that is not to complex and don't need to watch pictures or movies to get what they talking about, pretty much anything that is intresting or you can learn a thing or two from.

Im reading ebooks on my phone. This is much better than listening to audio books.

Yeah well, the thing is here I can only listen to music I can't actually really use it, thats why I need audio that is intresting/funny without having to watch pictures/films to crack the nut and be like "ahhhhhhhhaaaaa" you know :P

Last idea which comes to my head. You should check Spotify recently I really liked jazz only because I found jazz playlist in this application. You're Swedish so I guess you know that application. Anyway books are the best choice :).

Yeah, well sometimes I get tired of music, and I don't really like movies unless it's a really good comedy like how high, hangover, harald and kumar, and such like so books aren't really amusing me, I am looking for documentaries or anything that is funny/intresting :P

there's alot of them, and some times I listen to Filip and Fredric podcasts they are funny to.

I'm watching/listening to the Inbetweeners Show (and also their 2 movies). Freaking hilarious British humor! There are tons of episodes and their movies are 2h~ long or so, each. So there's plenty of time to spend listening to that.

watching / listening to my favorite Twitch TV streamers. I just stream it on my iphone 6+ now cuz the screen is big enough to enjoy watching, but small enough to easily conceal with my body haha

other than that... reddit

i try to move around at work so that time seems to be moving around me lol. i try to look out side and think of when i am done how i dont have to worry. i also think about things that i can do when i am done how they can bring joy to me.

i play tibia and the time really go fast!! jajajaja

I hear you @Connor but sadly the reality in most of the countries in Europe that belong to the European Union face a tremendous percentage of unemployment, so people have no choice but to work no matter what.
Working in somethin you enjoy is nothing more than a dream here :/

I honestly don't know if there is a job that you can enjoy fully at all times.
At one point or another it WILL get somewhat boring or irritating.

I'm a car man, i love spending my time under my car, and i know few people that love that also.
Some of them actually work as a mechanic or so, and they work for 8h or more doing customers, being tired and bored of it, hating every minute of a specific day, but on they way home they swing by a friend's garage and "work" there for a hour or two enjoying every minute of it.
Or drive thier own/ friend's car in the shop they were working for past 10 hours and actually have fun with it.

I have a chill job, i don't even have to show up at the "office" some days, i do alot of work from home etc.
But there still are days that i wish would just fucking end, and the clock says no-no.
So usually, i just listen to something on youtube, be it music or documentary.

my job is my best hobby! :D i'm paramedic and i drive an ambulance :D so i dont have a job beside a computer or in a office :P all my patients are differents and the cases too so i never got bored, but sometimes i finish very tired!
