Discussion: Botting Risks, Tips and Deletions

What I always do when botting is that i have 3-4 accounts for every spawn that i use, i just bot 1 character in the spawn for max 12 hours/day and then switch to another account to avoid having an account online for unhuman like time.

Also something that is smart considering for people with alot of accounts that bot is to buy a house with a character that DOES NOT BOT, i have a guildhall that all my characters could sleep in. I store all my money all my items and everything I own in this house so that if I would get deleted on a character I would lose nothing else than just the character (all eq is taken off when logged out)

This is their automatic tool scanning the servers. They're so incompetent that it lags the shit out of the servers. I've noticed this when they started with the automatic bans back on 2009, the server would lag for 10-30 minutes on random times during 3-5 days, and 1-2 days after the lags stopped, you would see a banwave. How do I know they're not using this anymore? Because the server doesn't lag like it used to (only when it's pinged, rare times that you'll see that kind of lag), it scanned every single player on every single world, and even though it banned like 3-5k people per month, it worked lol

Yeah but now just 1 character would lag depending on its online time to check if it could do un humanlike things while its lagging.

I've been botting my accounts for a while, and its basically 24/7 spread on a few characters. I still havn't been banned, and I think I know why. I have an active subscription and I really do think that CipSoft tries to avoid banning people that has a running subscription in order to create more revenue. Anyone in the same seat and same experience as me?

it doesnt work

i know like 2-3 ppl who always bought that premium mounts, like shadow draptor and stuff, also, had a subscription active for several months... got deleted

they dont care if u always buy premmy or not... they know that a real botter will make another character and will keep buying their premmies, rl cash or scroll :p

I know that they do ban people with active subscriptions and accounts who is purchasing multiple extra services & what not. However, I do think that it reduces the chance to get caught drastically.
