The character when it arrives at the maximum determined distance does not wait for the creature to be 1 sqm before the maximum distance. // O personagem quando chega na distância máxima determinada não aguarda a criatura ficar 1 sqm antes da distância máxima.

This probably has a lot to do with the double-stepping problem. If takes one step too far and then tries to correct it going back. Only when it does, the monster most likely already moved and it has to go farther again.
